Changes to library computing

Due to maintenance being performed on the network, new Acadlabs accounts are not being created.  The Acadlabs service is being replaced with another service called “FAS – File Access Service”, which is expected to be in place in the libraries by the week of August 30.  Computers in the William Small Centre will be switched over earlier, by August 23.  Until these dates, users can still log in with existing Acadlabs usernames/passwords, but will not be able to save new files to their My Documents folders–all files will be read-only until the transfer to the new system is complete.  New users wishing to log into library computers before August 30 must request a guest account.
